Czech Land Based Casinos

The city with the most casinos is Prague which is also the Czech Republic’s capital and its largest and most populous city. However the largest casino in the Czech Republic is located in Znojmo, a town with a population of about 35,000.

The following casinos are found in Prague; Banco Casino, Casino Aleks, Casino Ambassador, Casino Atrium Hilton, Casino Happy Day, Casino Live, Casino Palais Savarin, Casino Panorama, Casino Praha, Casino President, and Viva Casino. Many of the casinos in Prague are open 24 hours a day. Most of the casinos in Prague also have free admission, however some will require that you pay in order to gamble. Many of the casinos in Prague will allow you to gamble using Czech Koruna the official currency of the Czech Republic and the Euro. However some of the smaller casinos will only allow you to gamble using Czech Koruna.

The following cities and towns have more than one casino. The city of Brno has 3 casinos, the Casino 777 Brno, Casino Brno International Hotel, and Casino Grand Brno. The town of Znojmo has two casinos, the Admiral Casino Coliseum and the Casino 777 Znojmo. The largest casino in the Czech Republic, the Admiral Casino Coliseum has 8 different table games and over 160 gaming and video poker machines. The small city of Ceske Budejovice has two casinos, the Casino Brno Hotel Gomel and Casino Ceske Budejovice. The village of Ceska Kubice has two casinos, Casino Savoy and the American Chance Casino. The village of Hate has two casinos, American Chance Casino Hollywood Spin and American Chance Casino Route 59. The city of Ostrava has two casinos, Casino Brno Palac Elektra and Casino Ostrava. Pardubice has two gambling facilities, Pardubice Racecourse and Casino Brno Hotel Labe. Rozvadov has two casinos, King’s Casino and American Chance Casino Rozvadov. Teplice has two casinos, the Casino 777 Teplice and Casino Teplice Balnex.

The following cities and towns have only one casino. These are Cheb, Dolni Dvoriste, Franzensbad, Liberec, Marianske Lazne, Marienbad, Plzen, Spindleruv Myln, Strazny, Zelenza Ruda and Zlin. The casinos are Casino Ester, Classic Casino, Ingo Casino Franzensbad, Casino 777 Liberec, Casino Bellevue Praha, Casino Bellevue Marienbad, City Casino Plzen, Casino Brno Hotel Central, Ingo Casino Strazny, Casino Royal and
Casino 777 Zlin-Ondras.

You must be at least 18 years old to gamble in the Czech Republic. Most casinos offer free admission and are open 24 hours a day. Gambling is done in Czech Koruna and in Euros in some areas. If there is a fee for admission to a casino in the Czech Republic this is reimbursed in the form of casino chips which you can use to play at the casino.
